It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Global Institute of Social Sciences Research (GISSR).
GISSR was established with a clear vision: to work with and for youth in order to maximise their academic and research potential, while contributing meaningfully to their social, economic, and psychological well-being. At GISSR, we are committed to nurturing young graduates, emerging scholars, and researchers by providing opportunities for capacity building and scholarly engagement. Through our international conferences, seminars, and workshops, we strive to cultivate critical thinking, methodological rigour, and a strong culture of quality research across the social sciences.
A key academic initiative of GISSR is our peer-reviewed journal, the Journal of Social Sciences Research & Policy, which serves as a global platform for the dissemination of high-quality research. Over the years, GISSR has successfully organised four international research conferences, both independently and in collaboration with reputed universities. We have also signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading universities in Türkiye, Pakistan, Malaysia, the UK, and the USA to organise future academic events. Through these initiatives, GISSR brings together researchers, policymakers, faculty members, and students from diverse regions of the world, fostering intellectual exchange, collaboration, and dialogue on pressing social issues at national and global levels.
As Chief Executive, I extend my sincere gratitude to our academic partners, contributors, and participants for their continued support and trust in our mission. I warmly invite researchers, students, and institutions to engage with GISSR, collaborate in our initiatives, and join us in our ongoing efforts to advance social science research for the betterment of society.
